Standing Order for Dress

The uniforms provide a distinct form of dress that allows personnel to represent DoD and perform their duties with recognition and suitable for their ranks. As well as this, the uniform must be worn with pride and should never be used to cause offence. Especially to show you are a higher rank. The uniform does not represent the wearer; rather, the uniform represents DoD.

CHAPTER 1. GENERAL ORDERS
Subsection 1. Enforcement

The uniform must always be worn on US Military Premises, allied, and foreign grounds. However if you have the VIP badge of this organisation this excludes you. Furthermore, the uniforms are distinctive, visual evidence of the authority and responsibility vested in the wearer by the SecDef. The prescribing authority determines when and where it is appropriate to wear the uniforms discussed in this regulation. All components of the uniform must be worn as described. The personnel must present a proud and professional appearance that will reflect positively on the organisation. Any procedures or components regarding uniforms, motto's, grooming, etc. that are not discussed in these regulations are prohibited.

Subsection 2. Temporary Alterations to the Uniform

O1+ personnel may authorise the temporary alteration and non-regulation of one accessory item (eye wear, head wear, etc.) for one hour at a time. The JAG committee (JSC) personnel may authorise the temporary alteration and non-regulation of one clothing item (shoes, shirt, pants, etc). cabinet+ personnel only may authorise the temporary alteration and non-regulation of more than one accessory item and clothing item, including colour modifications and full uniform alterations. Personnel are not permitted to wear unauthorised accessories or uniforms that are specific to an office that they are not a member of, such as specific colour and type of accessory pertaining to said office. Temporary uniform alteration hours may not be hosted back to back with previous hours unless approved by a members who are granted positions such as the CnC.

Subsection 3. Behaviour while in Uniform

While in uniform, it is inappropriate and detracts from military smartness for personnel to walk from point to point whilst acting inappropriately; this includes but is not limited to language or behaviour that is explicitly sexual, racist, foul, or offensive to others. This includes the use of language that is generally not accepted by all social standards and cultures. Anyone caught doing this could have consequences.

Subsection 4. Officers on Leave

Officers on an approved leave must dress in professional civilian attire while in the HQ. Refer to Chapter 2, Subsection 1 for more information. Furthermore, they must modify their motto by adding "OL" to the very beginning of it.

CHAPTER 2. UNIFORMS

Subsection 1. Recruit Uniform

All recruits of UDoD must at all times until granted privileges to E1 must at all times wear the EXACT uniform as shown on the mannequins in HQ. Any recruit who does not follow this cannot be trained so it is your duty for their uniforms to be up to standards.

Combat uniform Composition:
blue undershirt
big blue camouflage uniform
no belt
Camouflage trousers
Round black boots/ the purchasable boots

Recruit Uniform Composition:
Short sleeve undershirt white
black camo trousers
black belt
Round boots black

Note: Recruits are not to wear any head accessories during training. They may wear these until they have finished their training.

Subsection 2. Enlisted Uniform

The working uniform is the standard issue uniform for all DoD Personnel. It is required that military personnel that are enlisted (E1 to E3). The uniform cannot be changed until a higher rank criteria is met.

Enlisted Uniform Composition: E1 - E3

black round shoes/HC

For all Enlisted members of the US Military it is vital everyone wears the correct uniform or a punishment may be set accordingly.

Subsection 3. Junior NCO Uniform (E4-E6)

The JNCO uniform is the standard issue uniform for all JNCO Personnel in DoD. It is required that military personnel that are JNCO's (E4 to E6). The uniform cannot be changed until a higher rank criteria is met.

JNCO Uniform Composition:

beige undershirt short sleeved/long sleeved + tie
black khaki pocketed trousers
black round shoes/HC
JNCO/SEL's must wear a white beret

Subsection 4: SNCO Uniform
The Senior Non-Commissioned officer uniform is set for everyone ranked E7-9 within DoD. Personnel this rank have gained a lot of experience and are able to help with any questions you may have.

SNCO uniform composition:
beige undershirt
black belt/ HC + shoes
beige khaki pocketed trousers
black round shoes/ HC + belt
SNCO/SEL's must wear a white beret.

Subsection 5. MCPON Uniform (E10)

The Master Chief Petty officer of the Navy (MCPON) uniform is the standard issue uniform for all Personnel in DoD. It is required that military personnel that are MCPON. The uniform cannot be changed until the time as Sgt Major MC has ended.

black round shoes/HC

Subsection 6. SABHNCO (Senior Advisor to the Branch Head NCO)

None Yet

Subsection 7. WO Uniforms:

The Officer uniforms are the standard issue uniform for all CW2's in DoD. It is required that military personnel that are CW2 and on wards. The uniform cannot be changed until a higher rank criteria is met.

Uniform Composition:
black undershirt short sleeved/HC
black belt/black and white gun belt
khaki pocketed trousers
black shoes HC/Non HC

All WO's may wear a gun belt. Anyone under CW2 will need to attend Basic Firearms Training (BFT) Before being allowed to wear the gun belt.
Anyone wearing the jumper is required to wear a gun belt, this excludes females unless wearing trousers.

Subsection 7. CW4 - CW5 Uniforms:
This is for anyone CW4 and above who are nearing the ranks of officer and this uniform should be worn at all times without an excuse when in HQ grounds. Wear this uniform with pride.

Gun belts permitted, black only, must include the HC shoes.
Jumper must be white undershirt

Subsection 8. Midshipman (MIDN) Uniforms:
This is for all members of DoD who have passed the ranks of WO and are taking the officer exams as a Midshipman to become an officer of the Department of Defense.

Uniform composition:
white undershirt
grey belt
khaki pocketed trousers
black round shoes

Subsection 9: Officer Uniforms
This is the uniform for everyone ranked Officer and above

Uniform composition:
Long sleeve + tie is permitted
Jumpers permitted
Sling/gun belt
Officers may choose to have either black or white belt and shoes but both must be the
same colour unless you are using a sling belt which is required to be black at all times
you can then have black or white shoes

Jumpers may also be permitted under the HC black and white colour as seen below

Special Attire

Office of the chief of Naval Operations are the leaders of the Navy and wear a different uniform compared to other officer's. The beret is optional.

The Judge Advocate General, Will wear the same as the CNO, however may have a different rank slide colour depending on rank.

Winter Uniform

The winter uniform is what members of DoD are allowed to wear during the winter term. This lasts from November 1st until January 31st. Members must wear the big HC coat as featured below. The colours are the same as your normal undershirt you wear in HQ

Summer Uniform

The Summer uniform is what members of DoD are allowed to wear during the winter term. This lasts from June 1st until September 1st. Members are required to wear their PTE uniforms with a difference in shoe colour (khaki) find the image below to differentiate.

Practical Training Exercises Uniform

PTE Uniforms are for PTE trainings or in R&R games (basically anything practical). The uniform that is required for Practical Training Exercises is very simple. Using the same colour as your top and bottoms you will then copy the colour to be used on the basic top as shown in the image below as well as camo jeans. For PTE uniforms you may wear a gun belt at any rank. You are also permitted to wear any suitable hat unless states otherwise by a superior. Please find the images below as reference:

CHAPTER 3: Accessories and Appearance

Subsection 1: Skin Tone

These are the skin tones permitted at DoD. The ticked ones are the skin tones allowed, the crossed ones are not allowed.

Subsection 2: Hairstyles

Here are the hairstyles that are permitted within DoD. You may have your hair colored with whatever color you please. The ticked ones are the skin tones allowed, the crossed ones are not allowed.

Subsection 3: Facial Hair and Accessories
Personnel of DoD may wear the following facial hair/accessories below. Only male personnel may wear facial hair, while male and females may wear the accessories. The ticked ones are the skin tones allowed, the crossed ones are not allowed.

Subsection 4: Eye wear
DoD personnel are permitted to use and wear the following eye ware. The ticked ones are the skin tones allowed, the crossed ones are not allowed. Eyepatch is only permitted for MCPON, SWOAN and officer's.
